AA Weekly

tudents, staff, members and alumni are currently based all around the world and are being connected with one another through local online forums.

The AA comprises a diverse community of individuals from across the world. Many students, staff and members of our association have travelled across the globe to stay with their families and friends, and to take care of their loved ones. Over the coming weeks we will be working together to set up local forums for debate and support all over the world on Teams. These will allow students, staff, members and alumni to connect with colleagues in their nearby area during these exceptional times. To join the London, Athens, Istanbul, Moscow, Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong or Beijing forums, or to set one up where you are, please fill in this form.

Digital Membership

The AA will this week launch Digital Membership, a platform to connect our global community and provide improved online resources, including: a directory of members and alumni; local forums in Teams; a new programme of online events and lectures; and digital collections of e-books, journals, newspapers and magazines. Postcard

Michael Sorkin, 1948–2020
The AA is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of AA Honorary Member Michael Sorkin. A mentor and a light to many of us and a true agitator of architectural discourse, he kept architects closer to the streets, to the social and political issues of our time.
