AA Weekly

All academic and administrative staff are now working remotely and are fully operational. Together, and from many different locations locally, nationally and globally, we are working hard to deliver the best academic experience and education for our students, now and throughout Term 3. The school has endured many periods of upheaval throughout its history: during World War II, the AA relocated to Hertfordshire, and the RIBA curriculum was shifted entirely to enable students to qualify given the circumstances. The difficulties we now face are monumental, but together we will overcome all challenges. We invite everyone to make full use of the resources that are currently available online for students, staff, alumni, members and society at large. As a school and an association of 7500 members worldwide, we must now think beyond the AA and work as a community to mitigate the larger-scale societal impacts of Covid-19. Let's take care of each another and continue to foster productive global dialogues about our collective future together. Read the Covid-19 FAQs

AA Online

A number of new working and learning resources have been set up that allow staff and students to connect remotely. Access to the AA network is now possible using a VPN and meetings, tutorials and events are being organised using Microsoft Teams. We will also be recreating the atmosphere and the conversation of the AA Bar at 6pm every evening this week, as well as careers and grant application sessions which will be announced shortly. Instructions for VPN access and Microsoft Teams can be found in the members’ section of the AA website.
