Monday 27 April–Friday 1 May

AA Weekly

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the AA launches an Open Call that invites architects, artists and all creative minds across the globe to submit drawings that depict our world today. At a time when the global population is united in experiencing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are physically isolated yet digitally hyper-connected – raising further questions about the ways in which we live and view the world as a whole today. The deadline to submit drawings for the competition is Friday 1 May 11.59pm BST. The selected drawings will be exhibited in the AA Online Gallery and be part of a future AA publication. Submit your drawings

Core Studies Prizes

This week, nominated individuals from the Experimental and Diploma Programmes who have produced exceptional work in their Core Studies will present their projects to juries. You can watch presentations for the AA Writing Prizes and the Dennis Sharp Writing Prize live on Wednesday. Projects nominated for prizes in Communications and Media Studies and Environmental and Technical Studies will be exhibited online after the juries have taken place.
